Marketing and Promotions

Description of Strategy:
We wanted to interest our target group by advertising an enticing activity to perform. We tried to reach those who already knew how to ice-skate or wanted to have some spontaneous fun.

Advertising Tools:
• Student Update email
• Passing out fliers door to door
• Contacting friends
• Posting sign-up sheets in Hart, Ice-Rink and Recreation Office
• Attending Winter Fest Meetings
• Posters placed in campus buildings
• Connecting with Social Activities


Result:
The fliers and advertising turned out being very professional and well done. Each of us went door to door for a couple hours to advertise and used the other tools listed above. We did our part to advertise and did obtain a small group to come to Winter Fest and 80’s on Ice to provide a memorable experience.
